Special Dampers
for Railway bridges
ouce-Hydro/Jarret Structures has developed a special
unit designed to react with three different behaviours:
Free movement without force at low velocity
Blocking during train braking, similar to a ShockTransmission
Unit function (STU)
Damping of the energy during blocking (earthquake), similar
to a damper function (FVD)
These devices are adapted to be used in association with
spherical pot bearings.
