The different types of sensor.
Position sensors :
Inductive sensors.
Inductive sensors mounted directly on the cylinders precisely detect the piston’s end-of-stroke positions.
The position feedback bar or follower rod.
The copy bar is a visual tool for tracking cylinder travel in real time, easily installed even on old cylinders without dismantling. The addition of inductive sensors on the recopying bar enables precise detection of all necessary cylinder positions. (Typically used for river applications).
Stroke measurement sensors.
Magnetostrictive sensor and internal cylinder sensor.
Magnetostrictive sensors integrated into cylinders offer precise, reliable measurement of rod positions, thanks to their ability to convert magnetic variations into usable data. Cylinder-internal cable sensor.

Comprising a magnetostrictive sensor, it offers extremely precise stroke measurement. The sensor casing is an external solution to the cylinder, similar to the copy bar, making it easy to install on older systems without the need for dismantling.

Cylinder external cable sensors are measuring devices that use a cable mounted outside the cylinder to accurately detect and transmit cylinder rod positions and movements, facilitating the control and monitoring of industrial systems.
